"My dogs Tip and Honey are the sole
subject of my work for this show. The large images some as big as 8'x8',
tell a story not of what they look like, but rather my connection to them
through the shared everyday existent that glues us together."

"As I begin my paintings, the spirits of my
dogs are pulsing. Their spirit influences everything from the composition
to the colors. I feel that what I see in Tip and Honey are reflections
of myself".

"I don't plan what I paint, I let it evolve.
I usually paint my dog subjects in a particular environment so that they
blend in without being the center of the composition. Perhaps my past
experience with animal rescue is why I always want to put the dogs into
a peaceful environment."
Painter, Georganna Lenssen

"The relationship between people and their animals
is universal but to capture it you have to go beyond the surface to connect
with the individual "spark"... the thing that makes each personality
unique."
